Sunday Service – 3rd of Epiphany 24/01/21
22/01/2021
Preacher:
Passage: Genesis 14:17-20; Revelation 19:6-10; John 2:1-11
Service Type:

El shaddai, el shaddai,                    [El-Shaddai, means "God Almighty]

El-elyon na adonia,                          [El-Elyon na Adonai means "God in the highest, Oh, Lord"]

Age to age you're still the same,

By the power of the name.

El shaddai, el shaddai,

Erkamka na adonai,                         [Erkamka na Adonai means "We will love You, Oh, Lord"]

We will praise and lift you high,

El shaddai.

Through Your love and through the ram

You saved the son of Abraham

Through the power of Your hand

Turned the sea into dry land

To the outcast on her knees

You were the God who really sees

And by Your might you set Your children free

[Chorus]

Through the years you made it clear

That the time of Christ was near

Though the people couldn't see

What Messiah ought to be

Though Your Word contained the plan

they just could not understand

Your most awesome work was done

through the frailty of Your son

[Chorus]

CCLI Song No 26856

Longing for light, we wait in darkness

Longing for truth, we turn to You.

Make us Your own, Your holy people

Light for the world to see.

Christ, be our light!

Shine in our hearts.

Shine through the darkness.

Christ, be our light!

Shine in Your church gathered today.

Longing for peace, our world is troubled

Longing for hope, many despair.

Your word alone has pow'r to save us.

Make us your living voice.

Refrain

Longing for food, many are hungry

Longing for water, many still thirst.

Make us Your bread, broken for others

Shared until all are fed.

Refrain

Many the gift, many the people

Many the hearts that yearn to belong.

Let us be servants to one another

Making Your kingdom come.

Refrain
